Articles worth 6 lac theft from the luggage in air India flight at Amritsar
Every month hundred of theft cases are being reported in various airlines. In the latest case a NRI lady Kartar Kaur of U.K complained to Air India that articles worth Rs. 6 lac had been theft from her luggage while she was traveling from Birmingham to Amritsar.
Kartar Kaur in her letter to Air India said that she was travelling from Birmingham to Amritsar on 6-10-2017 and her flight no. was A10114. Due to her health problem she uses wheel chair and she came out from Amritsar airport along with her attendant. Person from air India handover her luggage, driver of Kartar Kaur took the luggage to the car and they went. She said she was shocked when she opened her luggage after reaching home.
Expensive articles from here luggage were missing which include Gold bangles, gold necklace, gold earrings, I-phone 6, cash 500 £ & other articles like clothes & cosmetic.
In reply to her letter Air India regret to help her in this case saying that ‘baggage was delivered in good condition and she didn’t reported any discrepancy on the time of delivery.’
